I purchased these envelopes in store. It is my fault that I picked up the wrong box because I wanted the self seal envelopes. Instead I got the gummed envelopes. But since that is entirely my fault I resigned myself to using up the entire box and being more careful the next time I purchased envelopes. But why I am giving these envelopes such a low rating is because the bottom right hand corner of EVERY SINGLE ENVELOPE is partially sealed on the inside. None of my invoices fit easily into the envelope. I have to pry open the inside bottom corner and then stuff the envelopes. I run hundreds of invoices everyday. Not only is the lack of self seal time consuming but the fact that I have to pick apart the envelopes is a supreme waste of time.

The gum on the envelopes dose not stick very well. I have to use a glue stick to keep the envelopes closed.

Right size for invoices

We use these double windowed envelopes to send out our monthly invoices to clients. They work great with the address placement and size of invoices. It gets a little tight when you have more than 6 pages but that does not happen very often. We tried ordering double windowed envelopes from another company recently and they were not good. Even though they claimed to be the same size they were too big and we had to tape some of the invoices to make sure the address was visible. We will never try another brand.

Much better price than any name brand and with a coupon we can get these for a fraction of the cost we used to pay at other stores. The security tint is more than adequate - there is no question that these cannot be seen through.

Staples #9 standard invoice double windo

We have been using this style of envelopes for many years for our customer billing and with great satisfaction. But this last purchase of envelopes was not as good a quality as in the past. More than half of the envelopes in the 500 envelope box stuck together at various points on the inside of the envelope. So I had to individually go through each envelope to unstick them. That cost me a lot of extra time that I did not wish to have to take. I hope this was just a fluke for this 1 box.

These envelopes are great. I have been purchasing them for years. I like the versatility of this size as it can be used for checks as well as for letters. The windows are very durable and I have never had any trouble with them opening up or breaking. The viewing area is the perfect size and can accomodate entire addresses. The only reason they get 4 stars not 5 this time is because the very end of the sticky part is stuck already on the envelopes and needs to be pulled apart to be used.
