Envelopes are fine. They do the job. Am VERY disappointed in two staplers - both from Staples. One is a One Touch Stapler. The other is a Swingline 45 Optima Electric Stapler purchased at Staples. The One Touch does not close staples. The Swingline has worked sporadically since purchase and now does not work at all.

We have purchased envelopes from 2 other companies in the last 2 years before trying Staples. There have always been a section of each box that stuck together either at the bottom corners or the glue at the seal. Love not having to fix the envelopes before using them.

What does 'gummed' mean?

Disappointed because I thought 'gummed' meant that the flap was self-sealing. Instead it means that you must moisten the flap for it to close.

Overall quality of the envelopes is great BUT the window spacing is inconsistent. Lower window doesn't always line up with addresses on checks cuts off the payee's name.

I was disappointed that many of the envelopes so far are slightly glued shut on the corner and the material seems of less quality (thinner) than from past purchases of the same envelopes
