These envelopes are plain and white. No frills. Staples® is a brand name I trust for business supplies. The cost is economical. Purchasing the 500/Box ensures that my company won't have to buy this sized envelop any time soon.

I have been purchasing these envelopes for over ten years and they have always been a great bargain. I've never had a problem with and would recommend them to anyone who does mass mailings.

I buy a big box of these every ten years or so and had several of the old batch left when I bought the new ones. I could compare the old with the new. The new ones are made of a slightly lighter weight paper (maybe it's nominally the same) and have less glue on the flap. It is a bit harder to seal them and the envelope itself gets wet easier. I wonder if they'll find a way to squeeze a few more cents out of their production by the time I buy them again. I would have thought no one would be examining such a basic product for ways to cut corners.
