I tried the Staples brand envelopes even though the store is 20 miles away (happened to be going that way) because the other local Office*** chain stores have more than double the price of their basic #10 envelopes -- and I'm not paying that price. I discovered that the Staples envelopes are as good or better that the other store's envelope that I've used for years -- as demonstrated by no jams or distortions going through the laser printer. I'd been having a problem with the other envelopes recently twisting as they went through the printer. Haven't had a single Staples envelope twist going through the printer so far! And at about 20-25% less cost per box than the current price at other store!
Not the best quality envelope but reasonably priced. Used to mail flyers but wouldn't use for sensitive material due to the fact that you can see through them. Some were not constructed well and I had to tape or glue them to make sure they sealed.
The best thing about getting value and expected quality in a product is that the next time I need to buy that item I do not have to waste time shopping around. I can either call up and order online from a list that I haave in the front of my office supply binder. Once a product gets on this list then it is likely to remain on there unchallenged for years! Alternatively I can send one of my kids to the store to get it and be confident that there will not be a need to send them back again with a return item.
