A good basic envelope though a narrower more rounded flap is easier to use for bulk mailings when I'm sponging and sealing 4 envelopes at a time. Yes I give lessons! :)

These envelopes are very functional. We use them for everyday mail as well as for sending bills. All it takes is a little piece of scrap paper around the check and you are ready to mail. The envelopes are also practical for big mailings like the annual holiday letter. We can get two or three years worth of greetings and send everyday mail for as long. Lastly if you monitor the sales of the envelopes you can score a very reasonable price making you feel good about being a Staples shopper!
