We have used Bounty paper towels for years, they really were the best. Key word, WERE. Agree with previous comments regarding degradation of the brand. Will switch to an alternative and inform sellers why we no longer buy them.

TRIPLE ROLL

I have always used Bounty Select A Size. Now, however, it seems we are getting fewer towels on a roll. I recently bought the one roll, TRIPLE SIZE, and it didn't last as long as the single rolls that I used to buy. I think it is a rip off and the rolls do not state how many paper towels are on the roll. I think we are getting ripped off.

Bounty quality severely reduced over the past year

Some time during this pandemic year, Bounty quality (when I could find it on the shelves in NYC area) has gotten so poor that I won't buy it again until I can be assured it is back to normal. It makes no sense to pay premium prices for a product that is almost unrecognizable now. The texture is hard and harsh (not even close to the soft feel I am used to), it is thin, absorbency is much reduced. One clear indicator of a change in manufacture is that the embossing pattern is different than before, and the newer embossing also varies,. Also, some tubes are soft and easily squashed. And some rolls seem to leave a strange white residue on hands or fabric, particularly when the double layers separate.
A month or or two ago I called the Bounty support number at P&G and the support person seemed to be totally unaware of the hundreds (certainly more like thousands) of complaints about recent Bounty quality decline out there online. If P&G does not care enough about their Q&A, brand quality, and reputation to keep up with comments and complaints out there, and take complaints seriously, they should be ashamed. Those that care enough to complain speak for many hundreds or thousands more that don't take the time to write or call. We want our old, dependable, comfortable, helpful Bounty back (*not* speaking about B Essentials).
Btw, if these issues are related to pandemic or other manufacturing, supply, materials problems, we out here will understand that, but we want the issues acknowledged, explained, and a timeline for return to normalcy. Just don't tell us we don't know our own, real experiences with your product. We know the changes we see, feel, experience are real. Don't insult us by insisting nothing has changed. We know, see, feel that it has.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terrible change!

I recently opened a new package and was shocked over the change. When did this happen??? Certainly not Feb 2021 as other posts say since all I use is Bounty and they have been fine until now. They are now rough and not as thick. I have used Bounty my entire life as other brands were like this. Ugh now what am I going to be able to use. These are just terrible. Bring back what they were like all of the other customers have said!! Thank you.

different paper towels...what happened?

Bought a 12 pack about 3 months ago and disappointed that this batch feel thin, scratchy and cheap. Believing it to be an anomaly, we since bought 2 more 12 packs....and they are the same cheap, thin and scratchy that was in the first pack we bought. I'm reading the other recent reviews of the same thing. P&G responses refer to each one as a singular instance. It's pretty obvious P&G changed something recently and that something is for the worse. I can't pay the "Bounty" premium for a non-Bounty product. Currently looking for other options.....we miss the old Bounty

After reading the reviews I realized I wasn't the only one, and I am not imagining things! The last pack I bought were WAY thinner and less absorbent than usual. There was a clear difference in quality than I am used to with Bounty. I am about to buy another big package and see if it was a one off thing, but it looks like it unfortunately was not a one time thing. Y'all better figure it out and get it fixed or I can imagine you will lose alot of business. I can pay far less for HEB brand and get the same quality.

You changed your paper towel and no one is happy

Do you think we are universally dumb Bounty? Why did you changed your paper towels and why are you not answering the question? As you can read , we can all notice something happened to them as they feel cheap and thin now .

They have changed

Noticed right away that my bounty towels were changed. I have always bought bounty and Charmin. The paper towels are like cheap paper towels no where near what they were and the Charmin ultra soft isn't so soft anymore. what are you doing to what were good products? I guess it is time to switch brands, no sense paying premium prices for a inferior product.
