Perfect long time seal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was having trouble with my convertible top sealing and it will be a few weeks before the mechanic can get to it. The leaking was starting to take a toll on my interior but I used this flex seal tape and there is no leaking at all! Even with the summer heat and thunderstorms it has held. I will keep this on hand all the time now

I have used this product twice to patch up my bird feeder. This tape even adheres to wet items! This tape is simple and easy to use! It is also a great, affordable price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this to make a fat head picture of my son for his football games. It worked well to tape the picture to the foam board and then to attach the foam board to a wood stick. I then used it to sort of laminate the whole thing. It is now strong and sturdy and wind proof!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this Flex tape is great for awkward spaces. It really holds well and holds tight. I like that it is waterproof and that it holds a seal. I was surprised at how very easy to work with, too. I would really recommend this to anyone who needs a quick repair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very sticky product so be careful when you are applying it. I tried it out on two sections of the gutters on my house. Where the two sections line up always seemed to leak which caused a constant drip onto the window sill. It took two of us to do this job. We removed the two sections from the house and placed them on our deck. We completely cleaned the inside and outside of the gutters where we were applying the tape and also wiped that area with rubbing alcohol and then let it dry. While my husband held the two sections together I slowing applied the tape inside the gutter as well as out the gutter making sure there were no bubbles or wrinkles in the tape. We let the gutter sit on the deck for a few hours in the sun before hanging it back up, when it rained two days later there was no dripping from that area at all so for me the tape worked. There is a clear backing to this tape that you peel off to reveal the sticky part, I suggest you cut a piece a little longer then you need and only peel off the clear backing as you are applying it as opposed to peeling the whole backing off and trying to work with a long piece of really sticky tape. Overall I am very happy with the results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Flex Tape is Awesome! We had a small leak on an outdoor pipe that has been bothering me for some time. Our patio always had a wet spot because of it. So I tried this tape on the leak and to my amazement its fixed! Wish I would have got this product a long time ago. It is easy to use, very sticky and holds up extremely well. Very impressed!

Seems okay if not under pressure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Flex tape seems to hold up well when not under too much pressure. I tried fixing a hole in my hose, followed the instructions, and let it cure overnight. It still leaked after a few minutes of the hose being turned on. I didn't give up though, and decided to try it on a PVC pipe under my kitchen sink. My house is older and the plumbing has become sort of a mixed bag. There seems to be on area under the kitchen sink where the pipes just don't want to join together as they should. I finally gave up and just put a bucket under there that I empty periodically to catch the small amount of water that leaks through. For that application, flex tape worked like a champ and stopped me from having to worry about this continual leak under my sink. I have been checking the bucket and it is dry as a bone. So, I think there are definitely applications that flex tape works well, as long as there isn't a huge amount of pressure.
I also had a loose piece on my car bumper and wheel well that I had secured with a screw, but was still worried it would come loose. I was able to use the black flex tape to help secure the wheel well cover to the inner bumper without it being noticeable. I like the security of knowing it's there, keeping the wheel well cover in place and preventing anything from entering that area.
Overall, I would recommend flex tape, as long as you have reasonable expectations. It is very, very sticky, so I wouldn't peel the backing off completely. I would peel it off a little at a time as you stick it to whatever surface you are sticking it to to prevent it from sticking to itself and essentially wasting it. It is a decent product that works well for the correct applications.
