Awesome Tape!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This flex tape is the gold standard when it comes to fixing leaks and bonding. The tape is super strong and holds well. I can't express that enough. I've used it on multiple surfaces such as rubber hosing, plastics, and metal. I have used it on on my car, in my home, and at my work site and it has done more than its share to holding up and getting the job done!! I couldn't be more pleased with the performance of this product. It does exactly what it promises in every scenario. I even tested it underwater just see if it would still work like the package claims and I was shook that it did exactly that IT WORKS!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great product but very sticky!

I haven’t used it for a lot of the projects it lists, like roofing, but I did finally fix an air mattress after many years of leaks and it’s holding up nicely! The only issue I have is that it is very sticky which is great for hold but not great when it gets all over your scissors and then sticks them together. I still need to figure out how to cut it without leaving a ton of residue. I also used it to fix glass on an Apple remote and it is holding beautifully. It works so much better than duct tape, looks better, and feels better too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Too good to be true...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this flex tap two different ways. A piece was used to seal a small leak in a metal container. Worked great! Then I tried to seal a leaking garden hose. Didn't work. I guess the pressure from the water cause the leakage. What a disappointment as I had high hopes for this product. I will continue trying it around the house but the overall impression is it doesn't work like shown on tv.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free product of flex tape from tryitsampling and it did not work on the gutter. It fall off after a couple of days, granted it didn't rain and it was sculpting hot outside. I can see this tape working on other stuff. It's very sticky and you cannot remove it without destroying the tape ones apply. I will try it again when something else brake.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Flex Tape is NOT made to be used with water! It will not seal under water or hold under water! It will not seal pipes that have water flowing threw them! It is super sticky and thick be prepared to have sharp scissors or razor to cut it. It does seal dry flat areas very well. Flex tape is odorless and has an off white color.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this tape difficult to work with because it is so sticky. My scissors have goop on them. I had a rain barrel that leaked around the spout and tried to tape around it to stop the leaking. The tape did not work for this application, it still leaks. It would probably help on a smoother surface maybe because it is very sticky. But I'm not a fan. Also it is only a temporary fix not a permanent seal.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
