[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used it couple of times and I am really pleased with the result. the tape is made of quality material and easy to use. I was able to fix a leak in my garden hose pipe and also a crack in fiberglass furniture. it looks like it will work with any material so will be keeping it handy

I didn’t put it under water like the commercials show (don’t understand why you’d need that honestly) but it does hold and holds well. Definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product lives up to all its claims. Actually had a rip in my travel trailer awning and put this over the spot. It kept all water from coming through the tear. Also can cut into smaller pieces and works great for smaller quick patches.

I have used it on small holes in canvas on my camper and used for little jobs around the house. This tape is flexible and strong and holds well. I like the clear color so it doesn’t show up on my projects. It is well made and durable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I figured I would get a roll of Flex Seal tape just to see if all the hype was true. As an engineer, I wanted to see if it would really work. Having played with duct tape for years to do repair and knowing its limitations, was this tape really better? Bottom line, YES it is!! I had a chance to use it on a repair for my water hose that was going bad. I opened the package and unrolled a piece of tape, the first thing I noticed was the tape itself was very thick and made of a rubberized material, like a pool liner. The material is very pliable and will mold itself around any curved or odd shape. To cut it, you need a good pair of scissors, there is no tearing this tape. The second thing I noticed, is the glue used on the tape is unbelievable. Once taped to something, especially to itself, its virtually impossible to take off with out cutting it off. The first time I wrapped it around the hose, it was a little uneven, I needed to cut it off to do it a second time. Once I reapplied the tape the hose worked like new.
There are a few tools that every house needs, hammer, screw driver, etc… Everyone needs to add roll of Flex Seal tape. The number of applications for this tape is endless, the quick temporary patching of holes in walls, to stopping leaks in pipe or hoses, to things I can’t think of yet but will have Flex Tape for it just in case. I would highly recommend have some on hand just in case and give it as a gift, they may look at you strange, but they will definitely thank you the first time they need it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a hole on my pool tarp and living in Florida it rains all the time, I've always been a fan of Flexseal, but this really surprised me that it held out all the water from the rain the other day. Flexseal will hold anything and everything.

Worked, but really messy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a 55 gallon drum full of water that I use to mix saltwater for an aquarium. It developed a leak at the seam. Not wanting to dump an entire drum of saltwater to plastic weld, I figured I'd try the Flex Tape. Flex tape slowed the leak enough that I didn't need to dump an entire drum of saltwater right then, but it wasn't what I would call "repaired" in any way. I still had to prep and complete an actual repair the next day. Using the Flex Tape left a really sticky mess behind, so I would not recommenced using this tape unless it was an absolute emergency and definitely not to use it on something you will need to clean and prep for a later repair.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Solid flex tape in clear

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always held off on purchasing flex tape due to the color options being white or black. I recently used this on the inside of my canoe that had a small leak and the commercials weren't kidding! This stuff really seals well! Have taken the canoe out a couple more times and it is still holding. I'm sure I'll be using this a lot more next summer!
