[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this flex tape on my garden hose that sprung a leak. My first attempt was a total failure, but that was my fault. You have to make sure that the surface you're applying this tape to is totally clean, and you really need to cut the tape with a sharp razor knife or the edges will curl up. After I followed the instructions properly and waited 24 hours it worked perfectly. I am very pleased with this tape, and happy to have it on hand for any quick fixes that may come up.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm going to admit, I didn't read the directions clearly....barely at all actually. I did attempt to use this as a test on some aluminum stairs on our pontoon boat. I didn't think it would work and indeed, it didn't. I'm sure if used on other cases it would work just fine and I'd have a much higher rating. I'm giving it 1 b/c for what I tried, it just didn't work. Pics from the dark are before I applied and after I applied. Picture with my hand on it is about a week later after there was no usage. The edge just didn't 'stick' to the ladder.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say that I am impressed with this tape. Given all the marketing hype surrounding the Flex product line I was completely prepared for disappointment, but instead found myself staring in wonder at my non-leaking rain gutter. Yes, you heard that right. I used flex tape to seal a seam in my rain gutters and by some miracle of science it holds water and has kept holding water. I purposely waited about a month to write this review so I could speak to the longevity in a wet condition. Still works. Still stuck on without any sign of letting loose.
Would highly recommend a roll of this in the toolbox.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape is great. It’s very versatile. It works wet or dry. It’s super adhesive. It binds great to wood, metal and plastic. It holds up well in heat or cold. All in all it’s a great product and I recommend it to anyone who needs a strong, versatile tape.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the tape to waterproof and cover pipe insulation outside. It stuck reasonably well and has held up so far. A little difficult to work with, so sticky, but good tape all around. I didn't use the tape to waterproofing like on the commercials.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape is awesome. Works just as well as it does in the commercials! I've used this to patch a whole in a commercial jump house and water slide. I also had to use the to wrap a underground coax cable that I hit. My shovel had just punctured the waterproof material around the cable. I was able to use the flex tape to keep the water out. I would definitely keep a roll or two around the house.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is great tape to have around the house and work! I recently used it cover some holes in a car door because the vapor barrier in it was no longer any good. It worked great! I'll definitely be buying more once this roll runs out.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very skeptical of this tape but after using it to repair a hose that had been cut, my faith was definitely restored. It is easy to apply but it will definitely stick to your hands if you're not careful. I had a little bit of a hard time taking the plastic backing off of it but the hold is definitely strong.
