Maybe I used it wrong?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm going to admit, I didn't read the directions clearly....barely at all actually. I did attempt to use this as a test on some aluminum stairs on our pontoon boat. I didn't think it would work and indeed, it didn't. I'm sure if used on other cases it would work just fine and I'd have a much higher rating. I'm giving it 1 b/c for what I tried, it just didn't work. Pics from the dark are before I applied and after I applied. Picture with my hand on it is about a week later after there was no usage. The edge just didn't 'stick' to the ladder.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this flex tape on my garden hose that sprung a leak. My first attempt was a total failure, but that was my fault. You have to make sure that the surface you're applying this tape to is totally clean, and you really need to cut the tape with a sharp razor knife or the edges will curl up. After I followed the instructions properly and waited 24 hours it worked perfectly. I am very pleased with this tape, and happy to have it on hand for any quick fixes that may come up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very great adhesive. Fantastic quality. I bought this to use on a leaky shower in one of my rental homes. The adhesiveness is excellent, just make sure you get placed where you need it, because it is tough to remove it and try again.
If you have rubber, vinyl, or plastic that needs patching or sealing, this is the product you need!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really surprised by this Flex Tape! I didn't think it would actually work as well as it does since it's just an adhesive tape! We used this on a water leak on a deep cut mark from accidentally running over the garden hose with the lawn mower! This Flex Tape sealed it right up, and saved us from having to buy a whole new garden hose! It's like new! WOW! I love that this tape is waterproof, too. I'm honestly very impressed by this tape and will definitely be buying it again once this roll runs out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I saw the infomercial for this countless times and thought I could really use some heavy duty tape. First, I have a minor leak in my roof that my landlord was taking forever to fix. Second, I ran over some road gators which broke and loosened some panels underneath my car. Both were successfully patched up using Flex Tape, albeit maybe for a temporary solution.
