Super Strong Adhesive Tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Flex Seal Black Flex Tape. I have a plastic fish pond in my yard and it developed a small leak. I removed the protective backing from the Flex Seal Tape and applied a small patch on the area that was leaking, on the front and back, just to be sure the leak was sealed. I refilled the pond and there was no more leak. It's been two weeks and the pond is holding water fine. I would recommend this tape for any watertight repair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to try flex tape, but the results didn’t live up to my expectations. I had a small leak from my tub drain. After cleaning the surface of the pipe, tried repairing a it with flex tape and still noticed a leak after I turned the water on. I also had torn/ damaged mud flaps on my truck that I taped together with the Flex Tape, but after a few weeks the tape started peeling off. I’m

Good but not Great...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try this product on my leaking standup paddle board. As with the patch kit and gorilla tape I had previously tried, air still leaked slowly out of the sides of this tape. Not best for high pressure situations. And, despite its advertisements, definitely not applicable to wet surfaces or underwater.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is very versatile and comes in handy in many situations. I found it easy to use and plan to purchase more in several colors. The fact that it is waterproof meant that I could use it in places where other tapes have not worked.

Works great to stop leaks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I got this tape and decided to see if it would seal up a leak in a drip pan of a swamp cooler. Because of a leak, the water was running much more often to fill the reservoir as it wasn't being recycled from the leaking drip pan.
I stopped the swamp cooler and dried out the drip pan. Because we have a high mineral content in our water here, I used a steel brush to scrap the surface and knock the calcium off, as well as any rust.
Once that was done, several more pin holes showed up. Instead of several small pieces of flex tape, I decided to use fewer larger pieces. I cut two pieces that were about 10 inches long that would cover all the pinholes as well as the main hole (that was about the size of a dime when I used the wire brush on it). I laid the Flex Tape over the holes, pressing it firmly into place with my fingers as I did not have a squeegee.
Recommended time to allow the tape to cure is 24 hours, but I really couldn't let it wait that long, so after 8 hours I turned the water back on and let the reservoir fill and then turned the swamp cooler back on.
I am happy to say that after 3 weeks the drip pan is still leak free and the tape is holding up great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first day I got flex tape I used it on my vacuum that gets used several times a day that had previously been damaged in the hose portion. Because it was damaged I couldn’t use the hose part at all because the suction was so weak. Flex tape solved my problem and got my vacuum working back to it’s new condition. It has been almost three weeks and the tape has not budged. I am so happy with this tape!! It will be my number one choice for use when I need tape for things like this or around pipes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed something for my pool along with a few other things in the house that needed a good seal. This FLEX tape definitely did the trick! I have used several pool patches for my liner. With no avail! I then heard great things about FLEX tape and decided what could it hurt. I am pleased with the outcome after applying to the cracks in my pool liner. Mind you it was wet and I used the FLEX tape, it stuck immediately no messing with it or having to press for a long period. Just placed on did a little slide over and boom done. Filled the pool and have had no leaks whatsoever! I am very pleased and definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this numerous times for numerous different problems. So far I have no complaints ! I had a leak under my kitchen sink and even after replacing the pipe it still leaked at the seam, I dried it very good applied the tape and it has been two weeks still holding strong! My husband used it on his lawn tractor too, it had an oil leak and he applied this where the hole was it it is doing great. Even though it gets pretty hot there it is holding with no issues! I used it on my son's pool which had a leak also, it is very versatile and very durable! It is a bit difficult to cut as the glue sticks to my scissors but really it's not a big issue. It is very easy to apply and so far for me it has been a very long lasting fix.
