Really works

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The flex tape really worked great for fixing my hose outside. It was easy to use and easy to apply. I just wrapped it up to fix a hole and it stopped it from leaking anymore. I used the clear and you cant even tell.

Needs some improvements

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impression of the Flex Seal Flex Tape was how wide the roll was. The tape was quite thick (think thickness of a craft foam sheet) and seemed quite sturdy. The tape came with detailed instructions and recommendations on uses. It was also thoughtfully lined with a clear backing, which allowed me to cut the product to size without it sticking to my hands and compromising the stickiness before applying.
I opted to test it on a beloved, but now leaky handheld shower head that I had been hoping to salvage. I found that the tape itself was very tacky/sticky. This actually made it hard to cut as the sticky residue was left behind on my scissors. The thickness became somewhat of a hindrance because it was a bit difficult to tightly wrap around the hose. As such, I believe this tape would work better on a flatter surface. I was also disappointed to discover that the roll was not very full— I used up quite a bit to ensure a tighter seal, so I don’t think one roll would be adequate for larger job.
Now for the most important aspect—how well did this tape work? I had applied the tape for over 8 hours prior to using the shower head. It held up quite well for a few days, but then slowly the leaks returned. While it was not as much as before, I do wish it had done a better job.
In short, this tape has a lot of potential, but needs a bit of tweaking to be a truly great product. I would still recommend it for lighter duty or more temporary projects (I plan to bring it along for my next camping trip!)

Flex Tape is Great!

Until this past weekend and my main water pipe broke and I didn’t have the cash to replace the pipe. So I open the flex tape, went around it about 5 times and to my surprise it work! Still holding strong and no leaks and full water performance in my home! I would definitely recommended this product everyone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quick and easy seal! I like the fact that we could cut this to any size we needed. We recently had an issue with our sump pump and had a leak in the pipe leading to the outside. The initial “tape” we had on it as a temporary fix, did not hold for any more than three or four times of the pump kicking on to disperse of the water. BUT! Flex Tape is AMAZING. We placed the flex tape on it and it has not had any leaks at all. We have had it in place for a week so far and it is going strong. I will always have a pack of flex tape on hand in various sizes/colors just in case of an emergency.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the FLEX TAPE on a few things in my house. It worked ok on the pool as we had a rip in the liner. It stuck really great for about a week then started to peel a little bit. I then tried it on a crack in my shower and it stuck great. It hasn't leaked since. I also had a small leak in the basement and it worked great on that to.
I will keep using it for small leaks and such.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got flex tape clear to try in a pinch . It worked well and kept the rain from blowing in a small hole in my bathroom window but it was a bit tough to cut . Other than that I have no complaints . I would definitely buy flex tape again !!!!

Strong but hard to work with

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape is very strong and sticks well. I was able to repair a broken toy by connecting the two pieces back together with this tape. My one complaint is that is a little hard to work with. My fingers were sticking and my scissors were sticking as I was trying to cut the piece to size. I wish it had a backing that you could peel after you cut the right size. This might help make it a little easier to use. Overall I think this is a handy item to have for repairs.
