Really bad product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried Flex Seal tape and I am not impressed. Hard to get off roll for starters. Does not lay easily to try to try to repair anything. I would rather use anything else but this. This just seems to be glorified packing tape. I don't recommend this product.

Seals Water Tight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a really great experience with this product. I had a water catching basin in my backyard that had a crack in the side. I put some of the flex tape over it and it totally sealed it up and stopped the water from leaking.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used other products from flex seal and had a great result so I had high hopes for the tape. Sort of disappointed. It doesn't really work well or stick as expected. While it may be ok for certain materials and very small leaks it definitely won't handle any major repair and hold up.
Skip it and use something else is my best advice.

It sticks but does not hold well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this tape to temporarily repair a hose and it did not hold up well to expectations. I followed the instructions and I dried the hose and as soon as I started watering the plants, it started to leak under the tape. I had really high hopes for this. The idea is great, but it just did not work for me.

It Really Works Great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nothing is worse than going to take a nice, hot shower only to discover a rip in the hose for your handheld sprayer! So long water pressure and shower. You have 2 options - replace it or repair it.
I was so glad to receive a roll of Flex Seal - FLEX TAPE - Clear making mine a Repair It Project! It's so simple to use too. Cut a piece of tape the desired length. Wrap it around the leaking area. Leak Gone! That's it! No costly replacement shower head, no plumber, nothing. It works that great and stops leaks in their tracks! So hello water pressure once again.
And it works so well in water, during and after my shower, the tape did not come off! It really works great.
The added bonus is the clear tape. You can barely see it on the hose! I'm thinking how well this will work on other hoses and projects around the house.
Need to fix a leak on your own? Look into the Flex Seal - FLEX TAPE - Clear. It really does work great!

Versatile tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are a lot of tapes out there for various projects but this one is so strong! I recently taped up some holes on a pvc pipe i previously drilled. There was no way it is going to leak after I put this one. I accidentally got it on the pipe on the area where the hole wasn't. I then realized how strong it was as it wasn't coming off. No leaks and its been over a week since the application. Very impressed with this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Flex Seal flex tape on my sprinkler which had a leak. It doesn't stay put for long and is sticky. I wouldn't recommend it to others. Its difficult to cut it with scissors. Not a fan. This may work temporarily.

It Sticks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product worked great to patch a tear in my river tube. Before our trip to the river, we inflated our tubes only to find that one had a small tear in it. We decided to try the Flex Tape to repair the hole. The pros of Flex Tape were that it was easy to apply and it held up great. We applied the Flex Tape over the hole and then inflated the tube. The tape is flexible and super sticky. I was able to do a 3 hour float on the river without my tube leaking air.
I would have given this product 5 stars except that it left a sticky residue on my scissors. It was difficult to remove the residue, but I was able to get it off using an adhesive remover. I would recommend using a utility knife or something with a replaceable blade to cut this product.
