[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of those things that every home should keep a roll of on hand. It has so many uses, is waterproof, and has a super strong hold. If you’re stranded on an island and can bring one thing - well it’s either a knife or Flex Tape. My only complaint is that this is not removable, once you stick it on something it needs to stay there. Inside the roll it tells you “not intended to remove cleanly”, so if you take it off there will be a residue or it will also remove a layer of whatever you stuck it to. So just keep in mind that it’s not really a “temporary” use. Other than that this is an amazing tool to keep handy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Flex Tape really doesn’t work as well as it does in the commercials! Misleading for sure! So I used the Flex Tape on a couple of things after I received it and was pretty excited to see the results. I used it on a split on a hose that I was going to throw away. Be careful handling Flex Tape because it is super sticky and it’s very easy to have it stick to your hands or itself. Once it sticks to itself there is no getting it apart! So I get it on a dry hose and turn the water on and the tape fell off after a few minutes. Very disappointing! Next I put it on a cracked lid for one of my outside trashcans. Put the lid back on the can and ran water over it for a few minutes and no water got into the can, nor did any water get in the can. Hopefully it will stand the test of time. Not sure if I’d recommend this Tape to a friend.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used flex tape in white to patch a whole I had on my cargo trailer. I've been experiencing a small leak on my trailer and this was just perfect to patch the small whole especially since it is waterproof. We have had rain this last week and it has held up wonderfully. No water has got into my trailer so all my painting tools and saws have been protected thanks to this flex tape. Im in Texas so we have been experiencing 100 degree weather and it has held up perfectly. I dont have any cons on this product at all it has done just what it said it would do and im definitely impressed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We removed our fireplace after a large storm damaged it, which left a hold in our roof. I put a piece of plywood down with this tape around it until we can replace the roof in a few months. Already has survived a few downpours and no leaks yet! A+ and super easy to use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape couldn't have come at a better time. We were preparing our home for hurricane Dorian . the tape is very strong and sturdy. We place it around our windows and ac unit . I love the fact that the tape is clear so it doesn't look so ugly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best tape I've ever used. I got this to repair a tiny leak of my plastic kettle and my car mirror. I followed the instructions to clean the surface and tear down the taped skin and I feel it's very sticky, and suddenly it was stuck to my finger and very difficult to move out. This has proven that this flex tape has excellent adhesion. I used this to patch the window mirror even exposed in sunny days still holds tightly. I use this to attach my kettle as well and pour some water into it, and found it really works, and no water leak now. It's an amazing product. I've used for one week, and the mirror and kettle still have no loose sign.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently noticed that our washer was leaking. After my husband dissected it we found that one of the plastic tubes had a crack. We had just gotten this tape and decided to see if it would fix the problem. It sealed well, conformed to the corigated piping, and seemed very secure. Well, a week plus later and lots of loads of laundry, there’s been no water. Only time will tell, but so far so good! Love its adhesive, size and that it’s clear.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After watching Travis for the flex it tape I was slightly disappointed. You need to have really sharp scissors to cut the tape. There's a thin layer of film like paper to keep it from sticking to each other, when you try putting it back together it leaves a lump. My bench was falling apart and I used the tape to hold it together at least till I can get a new one. So far it's doing the job.
