[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to like this tape. It's a great concept, but it needs improvement. To start, the packaging could be better. Not only was it difficult to get out of its wrapping, but once I had all of the paper and plastic off, it was difficult to store. The edges are super sticky and get stuck to any surface you stick it on. It almost needs to come with a stick-resistant carrying case. Maybe a dispenser with a perforated metal edge would be easier, because the next issue is that it is difficult to cut. I had a hard time scrubbing the residue that it left on my scissors after struggling to cut across four inches of tape. Once I'd cut a piece of tape, I had trouble getting it to stick where I wanted instead of my fingers. This stuff is strong and super sticky. Once it's on, it won't want to come off. Definitely make sure that you got your placement right the first time. It has a great hold. I used it as a quick fix for some pipe leaks outside of the house and some holes in the garage door. After a few days it still seems to be holding well. It did leak a little in one of the pipes, so I'll say that it is better at keeping water out than keeping it in. The look isn't bad. It blends in easier because it's not shiny, and it is easy to cover or paint over. I like that it's flexible and can be used over different surfaces. It works fine, but it is not user friendly enough for me to seek out again. I probably wouldn't get it again.

Great for fixing outdoor gear

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this tape for fixing different outdoor equipment and I am really happy with it. Among others, I used it to fix my old backpacking tent. The seal of where different materials were sewn together were not waterproof anymore and this tape solved that problem for me. It is very easy to use and convenient. I know rely on it for many fixtures

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this on my tub and bathroom walls. Until I'm able to remodel I needed a product that could deal and still look like it belongs. This product did all I wished it would. The white color has a tile look to it and it's ability to keep water out by sealing the area makes it stay mold free. I'm glad I received this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Flex Tape works GREAT! Unfortunatly, my front lisence plate fell off my car and the holes for the screws are broken. This flextape allowed me to reattach it and keeps it completely waterproof! AMAZING QUALITY!

Bonds on and stays on

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is very sticky, not crystal clear but gets the job done. My dashboard was cracking and breaking from the sun. I put this on it and it bonded right to it. I had previously put tape which left stick white residue. That’s what you see in the picture. The problem was that it kept coming un-done. I put the flex tape and it held it down right away and still has not come off.. It is a very thick tape. Sticky on one side. Has a little of a stretch to it. Worked like a champ. This will be my go to tape.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] FLEX Tape - Black, Large 4" x 5' really does work like in the commercials. I used some under my kitchen sink. I have a leak on the pipes. FLEX Tape can be applied while the surface is wet so I didn't have to worry about the tape not sticking. Now I can use my kitchen sink and save up for a plumber thanks to FLEX Tape.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got a flood and I taped this before we got hit with rain and no water came in from the places it usually leaks from! This tape did wonders for the emergency I had. Would recommend to anyone that has small leaks or holes.

It REALLY works!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well today was clean the gutters day before Winter. I finally found the spot that was always dripping water every time it rained.The hole was about the size of a nickel after I removed the rusted metal and all I could think about was the cost of new gutters. Then I remembered the roll of black Flex Tape I got to check out and write about. Now I used a wire brush to clean up the spot before I put it on. It works, seriously, it works. This tape is 4" wide so I cut a piece (VERY hard to cut with scissors, use a razor blade) about 3" long to make sure the hole was covered. I put it on the inside of the pipe, got off the ladder and got the hose. Yep, not one drop of water came out. Absolutely stoked I don't have to start ripping the gutters down. This is a stretchy tape that water proofs surfaces. I've seen the commercials on television and even though it's holding on my gutter, I'll be waiting for that drip next time it rains!! Just to be sure I put another piece on the outside of the gutter. So far, a really good product.
