I have used Bount since it came on the market! When I married my husband, I told him that I will cut corners on a lot of things but never on Bounty paper towels! That was forty years ago and I have NEVER run out yet. True story!!

What has happened?

I have been a loyal Bounty user for YEARS happily paying more for what used to be a superior product. I have been incredibly disappointed in the last several rolls of Bounty Paper Towels, mainly with the horrible perforations! These select-a-size towels have been impossible to tear, especially towards the bottom of the rip. They leave a half-torn sheet which is useless and when I attempt to tear another one off, the same thing happens! I am wondering if lousy perforations are the result of some cost-cutting effort? PLEASE do your loyal customers a favor and invest in perforations that are actually going to tear and will do so easily. It is very frustrating to have select-a-size paper towels that you can’t really select the size because you ruin 3 - 4 of them with every attempted tear!

The paper towels will not come off the roll at the perforation. I have to just rip them off randomly or cut them.

Bounty Takiing Advantage of Customer Loyalty

Have you noticed the 'half-sheets' are now 'three-quarter sheets'? Now when you only need a half-sheet you're forced to use a larger one so you use more of the roll...so the roll doesn't last as long, and Bounty sells more paper towels. We actually found an older roll and compared the sheet size. No doubt some bean counter came up with this idea and management approved it to increase the bottom line, but once again it is at the expense of their customer base. Tell me if I'm wrong, Bounty

We haven't changed the size of our paper towels since 2018, but we did introduce new larger rolls! If you're looking for a roll that will last through all of your messes, check out the new Triple roll for 165 sheets on one roll. To expensive for the hard working Americans..poor people buy bounty because it lasts longer for us.. people with more income buy cheap paper towel because they cam throw money away.. I see it with my own eyes..

Poor tear design

I have always bought the select-a-sheets, but may not anymore. The last bunch do not tear cleanly! There is always a small tear at the end as the sheet does not cleanly tear along the perforations. What happened?
