The project I tried to create fell apart because the tape is barely sticky. I used another brand to do the same thing a couple years ago and that one is still holding together.

This roll on glue is great for sealing envelopes. It is also good for wrapping gifts as you don't see anything like you do using tape. There is no mess as when using runny glue and doesn't get hard like a glue stick

Excellent alternative to Glue Stick

My daughter got me acquainted with roll-on glue tapes and they are an excellent alternative to the traditional Glue Stick or Elmer's Glue (the traditional method of gluing paper). This product is easy to apply it's very sticky and it stays put without moistening the paper and causing ripples. The narrow bead allows you to apply it to narrow strips of paper without worrying that glue will smear onto your project. It doesn't require drying time making for faster project completion. It won't dry out in the drawer either.

i bought it for scrap booking and it worked very well. I had it in my purse when my hem came undone. I used it as a quick fix to keep the hem up.

This new design has a removable protective cover — which can get lost! The old design had a connected “flip-top” that opened and closed easily. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it!

Love the Staples permanent glue runner for all of my crafting projects but especially card making. It's quick clean and easy to use. Very convenient. No mess no refills and good quality adhesive.

Best glue tape

I've tried other brands of glue tape and Staples brand is the best. It rolls on smoothly and reliably...all the way to the end of the roll. It seems to hold up well over time too. And even though it is permanent it has more "forgiveness" than other brands do if I make a mistake and need to lift the paper I used it on. Other brands seem to be permanent immediately (no "forgiveness") and the rollers seem to get stuck or don't work as smoothly. I have made hundreds of greeting cards by hand using a variety of roll tapes and Staples brand is the only one I now use.
