We used these to glue ribbons on wedding invitations i.e. inserted the ribbon through card then wrapped it around and glued it onto the other end of the ribbon. The perfect product for this.

Why didn't someone think of this before?

This is an awesome product! I don't know why someone didn't think of this before. It goes on easily and you never get too much glue so it runs off. It dries quickly and if you get somewhere you don't want it to be you can easily wipe it off with your fingers - it sort of balls up. I was using it on craft foam and it stuck very well and didn't come off yet it was easy to reposition things if you got them in the wrong place. I was even able to glue magnets on with it. My only suggestion would to make it a little cheaper.
