When needed it is a convenient tool for dispensing double-sided sticky tape. Keeps your fingers from getting sticky and avoids needless chaos while applying. Would have also liked a sticky-dot applicator such as I've used before but did not see one available.

2. days of using it a couple of times heard a click and it stopped working. This was the second time this has happened. Purchased the 2 pack once before and this happened to the second one. I put it off as just a bad one I understand this happens. Just purchase another 2 pack this time the first one after 2 days of use stopped working also. Will try using the 4th one and keeping my fingers crossed.

The product works very well the design needs tweeking. the older style of this same item had the cover attached. why would they stop a good thing?
