Purchased these envelopes in the past for my office (small convent) and have been very happy with the quality and ease of sealing and use of envelope. I have used the clipped envelopes in the past and definitely not as efficient and much harder to work with so I now always use the easy seal envelopes when mailing larger packages for paper documents. These envelopes are very good but the catalog envelopes are stronger if enclosing bulky items such as booklets or pamphlets -- they won't rip as easily.

2 stars. The gummed edges on these envelopes did not stick firmly to the envelope and all we used had to be taped shut to keep it closed. Many of the envelopes in the box did not have the strip of waxed paper that guarded the sticky portion of the envelope on them so they were in effect already "sealed". In this case it was a good thing that they didn't seal well as we were able to pull them open and at least use the envelope. I would not buy these again.
