I have been using these Catalog Envelopes for over 7 years. I have never had one fail in transit. My paperwork has always arrived safely enclosed in the catalog envelope.

white wove envelopes

These envelopes are not exactly what I wanted but they will work. There's a product that is a shipping envelope that has fibers woven into the paper to make the envelope more durable. I guess when I orderded the Staples brand I thought they were the same thing. The Staples brand should be able to do the job for us.

Envelopes missing from box. Though only two this time it is a consistent problem. I have repeatedly suggested to store managers that the boxes of envelopes be taped so the full quantity--in this case 100--would remain in the box.

Finding sealed ones in box

Pull seals are inconsistent on the envelopes. Some are folded in half sealing half of the unused envelope other are completely missing sealing the unused envelope making it unusable to mail anything out in.

My company has used the Staples 10" x 13" EasyClose Catalog Envelopes for years without issue but over the last year the easyclose strip has gotten thinner and doesn't stay closed. We even have had recent complaints of people receiving empty envolopes. Simple solution is taping the outside of the envolope but that added step takes time and slows down my productivity and as far as I am concern defeats the perpose of having the sealing strip. Having a hard time picking its replacement but would love it if Staples would go back to the thicker strip of glue so the envolopes stay closed.
