with the first use it seemed perfect but after a bit the self-adhesive sealing flap failed; I was disappointed.

Self stick doesn't stick too well

I love the color and size of the envelopes and it really works for the project I am working on. However once you remove and seal the envelope they don't stay sealed very well. I had to go back to almost all of them and add tape to keep them from coming undone and having the contents fall all over the floor. (Yup that happened). It kind of defeats the purpose of spending the extra money and getting self sealing envelopes. Don't you think?

Envelope Closure Tape

The closure tape is too small. it often does not adequately seal the envelope in the mail process. I have to put extra tape on to make sure it stays shut.

10 by 13 no-lick envelopes

The peal-and-seal feature of these envelopes leaves a better taste than the older lick-and-stick version. The lack of a metal tab makes the cleanup of running them through your laserjet printer a snap. They do have limitations. Do not mail fish or other creatures that depend on water to survive.

The quality of these envelopes is as good as the more expensive brands. I have not had any problem at all with this product or any other Staples product for that matter.
