the "self-stick" adhesive is lousy and I always wind up taping the envelopes closed this only started happening with these envelopes in the last year or so

Quick strip is the way to go

No one likes to lick an envelope. And I've bought pre-gummed ones too but over time the gum gets old so if you dont use a lot you end up throwing some away. The quick strip is easy sticks well seals great and you don't have to taste that nasty stuff licking an envelope

Adhesive strip is about 1/2 inch wide. Flaps started to peel up as I was stuffing them had to go back and reseal all of them with packing tape. Better off spending more money and not getting the house brand.
