These envelopes were completely useless. There was no glue along what should have been the seam of the envelope so even once "sealed" at the top the contents fall out of the back. We didn't have time to order new envelopes so we had to put tape along the seam of every single envelope.

These envelopes are the right size for the projects I am working on; any smaller and it won't work. I was able to get 100 at a decent competitive price. I was hoping they would have been a little more protective in the way of not being able to see through though. Staples is my preferred vendor!

the "self-stick" adhesive is lousy and I always wind up taping the envelopes closed this only started happening with these envelopes in the last year or so

I bought these envelopes with the hope that I could just peel and stick and not have to worry about licking the envelopes to seal them. Unfortunately they don't really stay closed since the glue is minimal and ineffective at sealing the package. I needed to use packing tape to seal the envelopes. The envelopes are also very thin and could break apart in the mail. If you're going to use them in your home office to file things I would say they're sufficient. But if you need them to you know securely seal a package to put in the mail then definitely turn elsewhere.
