Colors are so bright!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are one of the best oil crayons we have used. The colors are so bright and vibrant. They work perfect on canvases and paper drawings. The variety of colors is awesome for different sketches and so many different shade to choose from makes it so much fun.

Better than regular crayons or markers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The oil crayons came in a set of 12 colors. They are so bright and thick on the paper, my kids had a lot of fun shading with them. These oil crayons create art that's abstract by merely using and drawing with them and I could see the gears turning in the way my kids were thinking while using them. My kids and I spent a lot of time coloring with these, and I was able to share tips/tricks. Highly recommend these oil crayons for an exciting art adventure. Try the shading/smudging with these, it's the best part in my opinion!!

Such a great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We wanted to try a new approach at coloring. We wanted to mimic the method we do with pencils, drawing and being able to smudge it to make the line not so harsh. I am happy to say that these crayons went beyond our expectations!!! We were able to smudge the color around and make colored shading! They blend extremely well! They have no awkward smell as would be expected from an “oil” product and washed off our hands easily! We will continue to use this product!

Awesome crayons

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are cool mix between crayons and pastels. They write like crayons but they kind of glide like pastels. They can smudge slightly like pastels also but are way less messy. I find them to be the perfect blend. My kids absolutely love them! They came with a nice variety of colors. I have so many new drawings to decorate my fridge with now.

A great addition to family crafts

They are learning the different ways to use them. They are easy to use, mess free and adds hours of fun to art projects.

Easy to use, great color

We decided to go with these oil crayons because it seemed like an easy way to get color onto the mediums of our choice and we were definitely right! Love love love these crayons. I never knew art could be so fun! They're easy to hold, easy to use and blend extremely well. A fantastic product, thank you!

It's like painting with a crayon

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These oil pastel crayons by Prang are great, it's as if you're painting with a crayon. But you don't have to wait for the paint to dry. Out of all the things you can do with these I would have to say that the transparency effect is wonderful and the staining is absolutely amazing, you can not tell that you didn't actually use a wood stain. I did a couple of wooden picture frames and they turned out beautiful. My daughter, the true artist in the family, did a picture of a cottage by a lake for her Grandmother and everyone thinks that it's an actual oil painting, it turned out beautifully. I wish I could have posted pictures but my camera on my phone isn't working, but hopefully within a couple of days I'll be able to post them and show how amazing these oil pastel crayons really are. I highly recommend them, and they would be a great Christmas gift for the artist in your family

Works great for art projects
