only paper we use in our house. only complaint is why do you glue the first sheet.. so hard to start the roll...

Thin a single ply

I bought this this week and this particular pack was thin as 1 ply like it tore like crazy and was rough like sand paper.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Back in the mid 80s I discovered Angel Soft toilet paper. I tried it once and this was my toilet paper from then on until I moved to Germany in 1990. It was perfect toilet paper. When I came back to America many years later, I went shopping and there Angel Soft was, (I had completely forgotten about it). So I then bought a package, it was not as great as I remembered it use to be, but still good. I went back to Germany and then moved back to America, and now I have tried it several times in the past 3 years. When this batch is gone I can honestly say, sadly I will not be buying it anymore. The quality has gotten so bad, I can not express how disappointed I am. It tears very easily and is very thin, flimsy and extremely fuzzy. When I tear off sheets I literally see the fuzz floating in the air, which of course gets all over the floor, sink counter etc. It is horrible. I would love to continue purchasing it but unless the quality goes back to what it use to be I simply refuse to do so. This is so sad, because I use to recommend it to people over much more expensive brands. Now in good consciousness I will not be doing that anymore.

I'm considering looking for a new toilet paper. I've always used Angel Soft. Didn't even mind when the size got noticably smaller. But, the quality has gone down dramatically and I don't understand. Does the company just think we won't notice it's not soft anymore?? Why?? Stol before you loose your base!

Poor texture

I used to L❤️VE Angel Soft bathroom tissue. However, the tissue now has a “papery napkin” feel to it. About a year ago I switched to Angel Soft from another brand that had the same “paper napkin” texture. Not trying to be too personal, but the paper napkin leaves little “paper balls” on your skin after using it. This “new recipe” you are using does not hold up to the strength of the original one. No one wants that kind of residue on their bottom after using toilet tissue. The texture of this new recipe is not as soft as the original. If I’m cleaning my baby, I can most definitely see the difference, as well as on my own body.

Smells funny

I love Angel soft and I’ve never had this happens before. I got a 12 pack and every roll smells like an old basement like mildewy
