I use these every year to file yearly accounts receipts statements etc. The cardboard? ones seem like they should be strong but I believe these will hold up better throughout the year. They are an excellent price also.

I had the case for less than one week and it broke apart. The piece around the locking mechanism broke first. Shortly after while carrying the case the glue which holds the back panels gave in and the entire case collapsed and the dividers ripped. I was indoors when it broke. If I had been carrying outdoors fir meetings it could have been a disaster. The case had legal and confidential documents. It was ovwrloaded or stuffed. It is simply poorly made.
