Because the front is soft when you try to open or close it the latch just pushes in or out and it is very difficult to use. Had to return it.

I have a number of large groups of specific but related documents that vary in size. This pocket case file adapted easily to the different numbers of documents in one category.It also seems very sturdy.

Not just more pockets but a sleeker file and stays closed better. The closer-gizmo is something you put thru a hole in the front of the cover and turn rather than a plastic buckle that is hard to open and hard to close when the file is pretty full. The only thing that could be better is that the cover does not stay flipped back when the file is open; it insists on coming forward and you have to hold it back when accessing the file's compartments--or you can just wedge the cover under a nearby open desk drawer!

I had the case for less than one week and it broke apart. The piece around the locking mechanism broke first. Shortly after while carrying the case the glue which holds the back panels gave in and the entire case collapsed and the dividers ripped. I was indoors when it broke. If I had been carrying outdoors fir meetings it could have been a disaster. The case had legal and confidential documents. It was ovwrloaded or stuffed. It is simply poorly made.

I like this file it’s light and can hold at lot of paper and it’s relatively inexpensive. What I don’t like about is its total collapse of all the sections when you need a file. I prefer the standard paper model that stays upright while your filing.
