The accordion file I purchased is absolutely perfect for our purposes. I looked at other options but settled on this. It was affordable efficient and easily portable. I can always find just what I need at staples.
It’s too big and bulky so that when the accordion is at all open it topples over unless you have it leaning on something. Otherwise it’s pretty basic and works.
I was searching for a 31 pocket case file (for the month) but only found this 26 slots. To open the flap on top of a desk is not practical when you have letters bills papers within the slots. It tips over. I do like the price and transparency and weight. I had to purchase another case file with 6 slots to complete my 31 day / slot requirements.
I’m a bit of shut-in at an assisted living facility. I’ve recently started receiving my USPS mail and have been getting overwhelmed. This file has enabled me to organize my papers and has eased my anxiety.
I got two of the legal size version of this item. All my files fit into the pockets but the flap that closes over the file pockets does not reach all the way over to close. Too bad. I would have returned it but a small bracket that fits into the latch hole fell off while I was trying to close the flap over the file pockets. Further as I care for a semi-disabled husband and we were in the process of moving out of state so did not have time to go back to return. So....I bought two bungee cords to wrap around the files with all my important papers in them. NOW IT CLOSES!!!
