Awkward scissors

These are described as 8 inch scissors. The hinge is placed down the blades in such a way that you lose an inch of the blades leaving you with only about 2 1/2 inches of cutting surface. You can't fully extend the scissors open because of that same hinge placement which leads to short uneven cuts. They also didn't cut straight. I returned them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These scissors are the ones that will be hidden in the back of a locked drawer with a pair of decoys at the front. I don't want to share them with anyone. They are a nice weight and make cutting a straight line a breeze. I did not have flashbacks to elementary school where I ended up with smaller and smaller pieces of paper as I tried to neaten up the not very straight edges of my projects. The handle is comfortable with a softer "comfort grip" inside that keeps my hand from slipping. I think most hands would fit in the handle. These sturdy precise scissors would be handy in any office. You'll have to get your own pair though because I'm not sharing mine.
