I use a great many glue sticks and rate this as a decent product; it holds well and I do like that I can see where I have put the glue since my projects require that I put a thin even coat over the entire piece. The purple glue stick however does tend to be a bit uneven in its coat so I use it for projects that aren't as fussy. It does hold well and clean up well so there are no complaints in that department! I use it predominantly for paper and fabric. One thing that I really like is that if i get it on the surface of the project I can rub it off pretty easily without damage if I get to it before it dries. Very helpful.
