I used these with elementary students in an art class the glue sticks were easy for the youngest to use and were less mess than bottle glue. The glue was easily cleaned off of the work surfaces and hands. The only problem I had was that very young students would roll the stick out as far as they could and then break off the stick while trying to use it.

As a sewist I use this glue to temporarily hold fabric in place. It costs about 10% that of sewing glue sticks yet meets all needs.

There had been many times when staff prefer not to seal there mail with a sponge or brush. They prefer to use the Staples Washable glue sticks. The day I bought this item I wanted to be prepared when the staff were to ask me for their glue stick. I placed the package of 18 in the cabinet well prepared for the first request. Drinking my coffee all of a sudden I hear a voice Chris...are there any glue sticks in the cabinet? I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Happily I answered "Yes there is now."
