I am a teacher. My class uses glue all the time. This was the worst glue ever. It hardly stuck to another piece of paper. Will never buy this product again.

This product is ideal for teachers of early learners. Students understand how to use it quickly. The firm take-off cap is excellent to excercise hand muscles and improve motor skills. It dries quickly and holds paper together very well. Good job and nice price.

As a pre k teacher I go through tons of these buying them with my own money. I buy whatever is on sale. The Staples brand it o.k. but Elmers seem to last much longer for the money.

Staples Glue Sticks

Very dissatisfied! I think the ingredients have been changed or something. I do a lot of scrapbooking and photo albums and so I use a LOT of glue sticks. I have always used the Staples brand because they are just as good as the higher-priced name brands; however this last purchase was very disappointing - the adhesive seems weaker than usual and does not bond well with the card stock and photo paper. After applying the glue to the photo and placing it on the cardstock I needed to place a phone book on top to make the picture adhere properly. I will try one more purchase of Staples brand glue sticks and hope I have better results.
