For high school classroom use these glue sticks work and aren’t messy. I bought them for all of my classes to use daily in some instances and mostly on a weekly basis. Therefore I needed a sturdy long-lasting product which I found in the Staples brand. The price was excellent since this purchase was out of pocket. I highly recommend Staples products over name brands for durability quality and cost.

Staples brand glue sticks are a good product & a good buy. They work well & reliably last a long time and I feel that it's a good buy. When we need glue sticks I just buy the same ones every time. Lesser brands dry out quickly.

Not a Good Buy

I am a kindergarten teacher and I bought the glue to use for arts and crafts and cut and paste activities. My students use the glue sticks a lot and I found that these were terrible. The glue dried too fast and it did not adhere to anything. I found that the papers that were used with the glue didn't stick and the students products fell apart. Very frustrating especially because I had to go back and repair 30 students' projects. I would not buy this product again.
