Maybe not the best bet...

In purchasing the Staples glue stick I was taking a risk. I have always used the name brand product but because of the better price I though I would give it a try. Fresh out of the pack I found these glue sticks to be harder to use for simple collage work on poster board. The glue was not easy to apply. It stretched on application and got clumpy on the applicator. Name brands seen to have a smoother finish with less elasticity. If this was being used for an elementary school craft I could see projects coming apart by the time that they got home. Quite a disappointment after the students hard work.

I store this glue in freezer until I need a fresh stick. It works really well to hold quilt pieces in place without them moving until stitched.

These glue sticks are the same as other brands. They are just as good as others they are very usable and costwise. I like to have such glue sticks on hand for little projects and for repairs that I have to do.

Bought to make art projects with the grand children and are used for art project. The price was good compared to purchasing them individually. We're saving loads of money over buying singles of the same brand glue sticks in the store - we just buy these ones in bulk. They work great - the grand children can glue their creations to the wall the table the television screen...one of the best things is that they are washable so the glue comes out of hair and can easily wash off their hand. I would buy more
