My 6 year old doesn't like them

Need to use too much to get things to stick together. Messy because you can't use alittle.

I've tried many other glue sticks. They are all tacky enough so that whatever you're gluing together stays together long enough to dry. These don't. They are not tacky do not keep things together (unless you hold them while they dry or weight them down). They have the same temporary sticking power as regular white glue which is fine if that's what you want.

Some stores have only those awful glue sticks for children that go on purple and say they dry clear. So happy to find Staple's brand that is transparent and works like it should. Excellent product!

I atttempted to glue paper to thin cardboard with little success. Even after drying the paper would not stick to the cardboard.
