Great for sorting papers

Perfect for bills/tax records

I buy one of these every January to store the coming year's paid bills receipts medical bills tax records etc. Nice and portable I can keep the current year handy and put the previous year's away in the closet.

Okay for light filing

The accordian file was purchased as it resists water and was described as sturdy. While the outer black part is sturdy the thin plastic used as the accordian part is not. I tried using this for large files and the whole thing started to collapse and bow in the front as if it was about to fall forward. For light filing this probably works great. Anything more than a few hundred sheets of paper and it will fall over.

The second day i owned this product the front velcro came unglued. On the third day i was regluing the insdie velcro. This is a cheap product and the quality shows it.

Too small

I needed it for paid bills and receipts most of which are letter-size. This file is too small for what I need. Otherwise it's okay.

Perfect for staying organized

Just bought my second file used the first one for 2009 personal records/paperwork. Going to start a new one for 2010. Enough slots for all my family's paperwork for one year. Used to keep paperwork in folders in a file cabinet but found I would accumulate huge piles and never file. With this file I can keep it right where I open mail and pay bills and file daily. No more piles of paperwork!

Needs Better Adhesive!

Great concept...Really worked for me until the adhesive on the velcro strips gave way now it doesn't stay closed! Seriously get better glue!

I like to use this product to keep my clients' files in order. The way the product is designed to sit flat on your desk when open is great an absolute plus - does not keep falling over like so many other multi-pocket expanding file folder organizers I have used do. Although I must agree with the individual who wrote the 1st review; the Velcro "snaps" do come off easily when transporting files from my office to the clients' offices - especially on warm days. And the pockets are not large enough to hold clients' backup cd's with the hard copy files as both hoped and it appears they would. Otherwise I find this product to work better than anything else I have tried.
