Great idea, but would have to replace frequently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this dish wand free from 3m to try. I like that you can fill the handle with soap. I also like the built in scraper. I know it says antibacterial, and I know you can put it in the dishwasher, but it IS a sponge. Sponges don't dry quickly, don't last long, and must be thrown away frequently. If there was a way to remove it and get a replacement sponge that would be great. It did work well, but I can see having to replace it frequently
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Back to the Drawing Board

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the Scotch-Brite® Soap Control Odor Resist Non Scratch Dishwand, for free, by 3M to sample [test] and review. In my honest opinion, to need to go back to the drawing board for this one. It's too short. Its barely taller/longer than my 30oz travel cup. The handle, in addition to being too short, is also a bit too wide, too big around in diameter. I'm short and so I have small, short hands; this handle could be a more slender. The sponge head also needs to be narrower. The rounded end is too wide and at a poor angle; it doesn't get into the bottom of cups or jars well at all. It is designed to stand upright, which it dies, but the excess water & soap drips down and leaves a puddle around it; it must be properly positioned over the edge of the sink as not to leave the counter in a horrible mess. Given the combination of all that... it's handle is too big around, too short, poorly angled, and the sponge head is not tapered enough... when using it, I ended up holding it closer to the end and having to really smoosh it down to reach the bottoms of my cups and jars. In doing so, the end cap would begin to twist off/open. See the attached photos and video for reference. I am thankful I was given the opportunity to test it out but have to say 3M, you've got some more work to do on it.

Great Dishwand for quick clean ups

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Scotch-Brite Soap Control Dishwand for free from Scotch-Brite. This is a handy item to have by the sink. It makes cleaning up pots and pans or the dishes you used for breakfast or lunch easy. No need to fill the sink or run the dishwasher for a few dirty dishes. After you put your favorite dish soap in the handle, just wet the sponge, press the soap control button and start washing. The non-scratch sponge makes it safe to use on non-stick pots & pans, as well as dishes and glasses. It also has a scraper to help remove the stuck on food. It has an odor resistant sponge and I love that you can stand the Scotch-Brite Dishwand on it's handle to dry. You can clean and sanitize the Dishwand in the dishwasher. It does a great job cleaning your dishes. It is now my go to item when washing small amounts of pots, pans or dishes after using them, instead of them sitting in the sink all day.

Great scrub brush for daily cleaning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotch Brite's Soap Control Dish wand is very handy in keeping my hands drier. I like the scrubbing action, but it's only really good for gentler stuff as the brush is non scratch so not as hardy at cleaning tougher messes. Still a good wand for everyday dish cleaning.

Love the built-in food scraper-helps with dried up food. I also use it to clean the stove top, which looks amazing now. Best part of this dishwand-it’s odor free! Highly recommend this!

Solid Scrubber for the Kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the 3M dishwand and overall found it to be a solid cleaning tool. The wand fits comfortably in hand and the brush is sturdy enough for typical dish scrubbing without feeling flimsy. It handles baked-on messes reasonably well and reduces the effort compared to a basic sponge. Cleanup is easy and the design helps avoid getting your hands too wet or grimy.
If I had one small complaint, it’s that for extremely tough or old burnt-on layers it doesn’t always have as aggressive a scrubbing surface as a heavy duty pad with metal bits—but for everyday kitchen use it delivers. In short: a dependable upgrade from a standard sponge or dish brush; well worth keeping under the sink for regular dish duty.

Great sponge scrubber

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dish scrubber sponge works great. Its non scratch and stores soap in the handle. Ive used it for pots pans and even glasses with great results.Its very handy. Just push the button to dispense soap onto the sponge and clean away.
