Love It!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this scrub brush from 3M to review. I really love it compared to any others I have tried. It dispenses the perfect amount of soap with barely even pushing the button where previously I have had to push down so hard and hardly any soap came out. The scrubber is perfect for dishes and I love the built in food scraper. And it stands up on my sink! I love that!

Not the worst way to wash your dishes

I normally do not use dishwands as it has been my experience that they leak the soap from the area where the sponge meets the wand. I was pleasantly surprised with how well this dishwand performed in this aspect. If anything, it was almost difficult to get the soap out of the wand when I needed to.
For me, the place where you press to release soap is in an awkward location. Exactly where I hold the wand to wash the dishes is the "button" and if you are not careful, you continually drip soap while washing dishes. This isn't entirly a bad design as the sponge does not retain enough of the suds to continue washing from one item to the next. The scrubbing surface of the sponge is unique. It is not a fiber scrubber like on the no-scratch sponges I regularly use, it is more like waterproof cardstock with dots on it with a sponge attached.
If you have to really scrub at something, this is not the most beneficial product to use. I did however like the way this dishwand was designed for washing my reuseable, resealable food storage bags. It fit well into the corners and made clean up easy.
The end of the wand was easy to fill soap, but the square design of the wand and cap somehow made it easy for the cap to begin to loosen when washing dishes. This was not a major issue, but definitely made me aware enough that I checked it every so often.
I did not make a concious effort to use the food scraper because I worried about it scratching the pans.
Overall, this is a product I might recommend to a friend depending on their need.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Scotch-Brite® Soap Control Odor Resist Non Scratch Dishwand for free but the opinions here are based on my own experiences.
I love the bright color scheme and design. It's comfortable to hold and easy to fill and use. Push to release the dish soap and scrub. The sponge is scratch-resistant and the edge of the wand has a built-in scraper for more stuck on foods. This is Very helpful sometimes. Minimal scrubbing needed. Stands upright so saves space and doesn't sit and absorb more water then start to smell and mildew. The sponge itself contains something that also helps protect from bacterial odors. Super nice and efficient. So far I have had no issues with scratching up my dishes or pans. Definitely recommend trying. I like the texture of the sponge as well as the look.

Easy to use, nice features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently receive the opportunity to try this product out. Two things are my favorite when using this product. First- it helps me save on dish soap. I tend to be heavy-handed when pouring it straight from the bottle. So being able to fill up the dish wand and if needed, add a touch of water, really allows me to use less soap but still get the results I need. The second thing I like about using this dish wand is the odor resistance feature. I enjoy using sponges on my dishes and I have 2-3 different kinds depending on what I am washing (pans versus glasses). I really like using the dish wand on plates and pans but yet I can also use it on glasses as it does not scratch them. But it does not pick up the odors from my dishes or pans which I really like. Easy to rinse off and use. The button to spray the soap onto my dishes is a neat feature. I admit I had to get use to using it as I felt like at times it was not working but actually it was.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor Execution

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a Scotch-Brite Odor Resist Soap Control Non-Scratch Dishwand for free in exchange for my honest review. I had high hopes for this sponge, especially since we love similar types that hold soap inside. Unfortunately, this one didn’t last long, and its short life was filled with issues.
From the very first use, I noticed that the flat sponge head with its stiff backing made it difficult to clean anything that wasn’t flat — a major drawback. In addition, the soap leaked from the head even when not in use. This made it impossible to store upright as intended, and we ended up keeping it head-down in a dish just to avoid messy countertops. Finally, after only a week, the sponge head began shredding and falling apart.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this product to a friend. Great idea, but poor execution.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love most things about this brush. I love the soap option ehich dispenses the oerfect about of soap her squeeze. I like the scubbing brush or sponge until a certain extend. I guess it would depend on what the job is i guess. I found that it didn't do as great on the tougher jobs like plates that have sat overnight as there are no real scubbing agents other than the flat scubber in the spong.
