The seam ripped after a few uses still usable but partly broken now. The new version (with the metal -looking bar for the clasp) has rivets on the corners to prevent this

The accordion file is good for light duty use. The other accordion files available where more sturdy but overpriced for what you get. Elected to go with this one knowing I would only need to use it during income tax filing time.
