The accordion file is good for light duty use. The other accordion files available where more sturdy but overpriced for what you get. Elected to go with this one knowing I would only need to use it during income tax filing time.

When my paper file folder finally collapsed under the weight of the scotch tape holding it together I looked for something more stable and long-lasting. I was surprised by the large selection and variety of materials available at Staples. In additional to the many colors I found several useable sizes from letter-size to legal-size. I tried them all with samples I had brought with me. There was also a difference in the expandability of each type of container. Several would have been limited beyond my currents needs. Thank you for providing so many options.

Organizes and protects important papers

These are a must-have for a new school year! As a teacher I find it indispensable for organizing that flurry of paperwork that accompanies the first days of school.Everything remains neat protected and at my fingertips. Throughout the school year I can keep data meeting notes parent information and student work with me as I travel between home and school. For my own college age children this handy organizer keeps them on track with important papers already completed and those in progress.
