I was very pleased with the quality of the Staples #10 Left Window Gummed Envelopes that I recently ordered. I use the envelopes for mailing invoices and the envelopes are very sturdy and seal very well. I am sometimes apprehensive about ordering online but was very satisfied with my purchase. I would highly recommend this envelope to businesses and individuals who required a window envelope. Staples always has a good selection of high quality products for the home and office.

Good for purpose

These envelopes have a good sized clear window which is securely attached to the paper and doesn't come separated during mailing. The glue adhesive remains secure during handling and Shipping. The only flaw I may point out is that the paper weight is not thick and although it allows for standard postage price it does mean there is a lack of security. You are able to look through the paper and so I would not suggest using these envelopes if mailing checks or any documents which would require using a security envelope.

Buy for company invoices and statements. Last couple boxes we have purchased the glue is either not very good or very little was used. Have to tape the flap or use additional adhesive. Good buy for the price though.

The best for what we do

All envelopes we use are run through a RISO machine to attach our return address and are then hand stuffed. This particular item has never let us down. It doesn't get jammed in the RISO and we haven't had problems with the windows coming out or flaps coming unstuck. (Problems do happen sometimes-maybe 1/2 % Nothing is perfect)

We had to replace a different type of windowed envelopes as our invoices didn't quite center in the opening of the window. These worked great and the invoices once folded did not slide around and have the text cut off or obscured. Wish they came in larger packaging and at a volume discount.

These are just what we want. We use these for mailing when the customer does not want the return address to show our business address. The billings we do fit right in them with the correct position of the window. Good quality and durable as Staples products are.
