I was looking for a sturdy folder that had numerous sections to file different sections relative to income taxes. This TRU RED Reinforced Plastic Accordion 13-pocket Letter Size File was perfect for my needs. The price was a little lower than other comparable folders.
What I like: It came with removable paper inserts to label the tabs. (Note that in the description there isn’t a tab for each letter in the alphabet.) The elastic closure works well. Accordion shape. There are no cons at this point.
The "purple" was more burgundy than it was purple like shown in the photo but I realize that may depend on monitors etc. It has a center closure so you are stretching 1 piece of cord to the middle. The outer shell is very strong and well-made and the top side of each opening is reinforced (I'm guessing that's usually where it breaks). I would definitely get this item again if I didn't have a lot of papers but I use it to store paper copies of my monthly bills (I know - paper but it's the only way I'll read them) and it's really not big enough. I have approximately 10 bills each month and 1-2 pages each (maybe a couple have 3 sheets but rare) so it's about 200 sheets and it'll bulging. The cord is stretched all the way and the folder doesn't look as nice as the other ones I have.
