These envelopes are NOT recommended. The bottom seams open when used the top glue strip does not hold when sealed and the sides rip with minimal friction. Most had to be taped in 2 or more places to be put in the mail.

Not sure what's happened to this product but recently it is lower quality than it used to be. We had 2 boxes of the same exact item number and one box (the older one) was normal and the newer box did not seal properly and was clearly made of a less quality material. You can literally feel the difference between them.

Okay but would have liked more information before purchasing

After receiving the product I see that it's made in UAE. The listing said something about recycled content but the package says nothing of the sort. It would be nice if Staples could source its products from North America especially paper! And why not FSC certified? I should have gone with an American-made brand.
