what can i say? this is a box of envelopes 9 by 12. they are not waterproof but a great feature is the "easy close" adhesive applied to the envelopes so that you do not have to lick them shut or wet the gumming. the envelopes without the adhesive are about $1.00 less but to me the adhesive makes this product worth paying $1.00 more. by the way the Tyvek envelopes without the adhesive are about $1.00 more than this product and the Tyvek envelopes with the adhesive are about $4-$5 more than this product. So this product is appropriately priced for what you get.

The envelopes with the peel off label to seal are so much more convenient than the envelopes you have to moisten to seal. And the price on the envelopes was very reasonable compared to the ones you moisten.

These are envelopes for mailing. They are colored yellowish brown not a true brown. There are other envelopes for sale that are colored white. They have an adhesive tape so you don't have to lick them. They are sized so you can send standard letters out without folding them. I use them for business. They come in a box. Once you open the box you can take them out one at a time easily enough. They are boxed 100 to the box. Once you buy a box you won't have to replace them until you finish. The box is a convenient way to store the envelopes. Without the box I'd probably have to get a box or the envelopes would just fly around all over the place.
