The envelopes are good but the "glue" on the flaps is not reliable. You have to put Scotch tape on the flaps to make sure they stay closed.

Every office need 9"x12" envelopes and Staples Brown Kraft EasyClose envelopes fit the bill. They are well constructed and will handle your catalog or contract with confidence. These envelopes are conveniently self sealing with removal of the protective strip. I would highly recommend these envelopes.

Too many envelopes in box were not sealed properly down the back and had to put scotch tape on them.

Disappointing Seal

The sticky strip on these is only about 1/4 inch thick. It is not adequate and the envelopes frequently come unsealed even after pressing very firmly and rubbing over the top. If I have to add tape to every envelope it sort of defeats the cost savings and convenience.
