Reduced quality of product from previous envelopes

I have purchased the same #10 security business envelopes from Staples for over 10 years for the same end-of-year mailing for our business (over 1000 pieces sent out each year). The envelopes pictured on the the website looked the same as usual but were not even close to the quality that I received in previous years. The 2 boxes of 500 were at least 2" shorter than before indicating that the paper used (even though it said 24 lb weight) was not nearly as heavy. Placed on a postal scale it was only about 3/4 the weight of previous years. The interior blue security printing was not as dark and worst of all the self adhesive strip was only half as wide allowing for the closure flap to open in transit. I had to return them as they were unacceptable compared to the previous product. A good example of not raising the price just reduce the quality or size of the product to add more profit. NOT a good way to keep customers!

Envelopes seal well. They are made of reasonable weight paper. No complaints. Would order again.

A Great buy for an association that sends out mailings every 3-4 months. Not only do they have the easy strip to peel & seal but they are light weight and don't add to postage.

These security envelops do the job. The only thing I would improve is the "stickum" which could be a little stronger.

I love these envelopes they are so great in so many ways. When sending payments I like to these envelopes with the security tint so I don't have to worry about someone noticing that there is a check in the envelope and try to steal it. That is a concern of mine with the mailing anymore. Also love that I don't have to lick to seal. They go through our print great and not get caught in the feed tearing up the envelope and having to start all over on the job I was working on. This is what we use in our office for all the letters
