NO MORE GLUE

Don't waste your money! These used to be the best envelopes. Now they've cut way back on glue and don't stay stuck. sitting here taping all my envelopes because they open on their own now.

Cheaply Made

I just reordered a box and the quality is so poor they have downgraded the materials. The paper is super thin and they are flimsy. The self stick area is also much smaller. They are charging more and while diminishing quality same story with these big box companies. I will be ordering better quality envelopes elsewhere.

Good day; I use or my family uses the E.C.S.T. envelopes all the time. Couple of us still like to mail in our bill statements with checks and these envelopes give me a little more security in knowing my personal information is going to be protected. On top of that not having to lick the envelopes anymore is a plus: Kid you not; the easy close adaptation for these new envelopes is the best thing since sliced bread. Try them! You'll see what I mean. I cannot remember how many times I inflicted myself with paper cuts using the old style lick and paste envelopes. These E.C.S.T. envelopes should be a 'staple' in your office supplies.

Envelopes are just average. More on the flimsy side. Adhesive is fair - doesn't always want to stick properly.

anything is better than licking

we do a bit of mailers and licking 500 envelopes is just insane - i know i've done it - what is worse is when the ones you have to lick get damp and don't work. So we've had these for months and they still work and we've got a case and gone through them in a week and they work great. simple lesson - its always better than licking.

The self seal ends about 1/2 inch in from the side edges of the envelope flap. This makes them prone to tearing and being damaged by Post Office handling systems. I normally have to add scotch tape at the ends of the flap to avoid that. Self seal should be for the entire width of the envelope flap.
