Closure Adhesive Not Strong

The reason I purchased this item was for the easy close feature. The adhesive is not strong enough to keep the envelope closed without putting a lot of pressure on the closing strip. Even then I'm not impressed by the adhesive to keep the envelope closed. Disappointed.

What can you say about envelopes. I like the peel and stick because the gummed get damp in humid weather stick then are useless

The paper these envelopes are made with is too lightweight. The envelope feels flimsy. The product description should have indicated the lighter stock used for these envelopes.
